Project: Manor Farm
Location: Hillingdon
Manor Farm is on the site of the ancient administrative centre of the manor of Ruislip. Evidence of its age still remains in the form of a considerable bank and ditch (c 9th century) that has been traced in an almost complete circle round the village, including Manor Farm.
This project was to carry out a full fit-out including graphic interpretation, interactives, showcases and audio visual displays that told the story of the site from its early days through to the present.
There are displays in both the Manor House and Great Barn and all work had to be carried out with due consideration to the grade 11 status of both buildings.
A unique collection of spaces, historic buildings, archaeological remains and landscape features set in 22 acres of grounds.
