Project:Soldier's Story
Location:Derby Museum.
The Regimental Museum Display is housed in the Military Gallery at Derby Museum and displays the story of 3 regiments from early times up to the present. Beacon worked closely with designers and client to carry out the fit-out, graphic installation and reconstructions that included a mock-up of a World War 1 trench scene and a World War 2 tank turret. We also coordinated the showcase installation and manufactured all of the object supports and installed them with the client. This major refurbishment of the Museum was completed in October 2008.
